Was my problem that Minecraft was trying to run a bunch of mods all at once, most of which are various versions of Optifine? I'm hoping it's just a simple error, like I forgot to name this file that thing, or the website has some bug, use this version of Forge instead. Yesterday, I had Forge up and running, but the game would crash whenever I tried to switch resource packs (though the pack would be in use when I next relaunched Minecraft), and the game would just refuse to run if I tried to use Optifine with it. I hop into the Magic Launcher, go to Setup, and put Optifine in as a core mod.

Close Minecraft and install Optifine would be my next course of action, if I could get to this stage.Keeping my launcher open upon running, I run into this error message in the "Game Output" tab. I also make sure to choose "release 1.8-Forge11." as my version. Everything is un-ticked, aside from "JVM Arguments", which has this: -Dforge.forceNoStencil=true -Xmx1G -Xmn128M. I use Magic Launcher, but I remember having to set up a vanilla launcher profile. Set up Forge profile in the vanilla launcher.I simply double-click the exe, make sure "Install Client" is ticked and the path at the bottom is correct, then hit "OK". I'm using the official site and clicking "Installer-win" under "Download Recommended". I've spent the better part of two days trying to get Optifine + Forge working, but I can't for the life of me get it to work.
